Shannon is by appointment only. This is intentional, it protects your time and means she's fully focused on you when you're there.
-
Have at least 3 to 4 weeks of growth after shaving. If it's too long, Shannon can trim it down before starting. If it's too short, she'll let you know and you can reschedule.
-
Yes. Gently exfoliate 24 to 48 hours before your appointment. This helps release any trapped hairs and gives the wax a cleaner grip. Just don't exfoliate the day of. Skin needs to be calm, not freshly sensitized.
-
Moisturize leading up to your appointment, but skip it the day of. Product on the skin creates a barrier that stops the wax from gripping properly. Hydrated skin over time means better waxing results overall.
-
You can but skin tends to be more sensitive during your period, which means more discomfort than usual. If you can schedule around it, Shannon recommends doing so. If your period surprise-shows up, just wear a tampon or cup and you're good to go!
-
Loose, comfortable clothing, especially on the bottom. After your wax, skin is a little sensitive and tight waistbands or jeans can cause irritation. Think sweats, loose pants, or a dress. You'll thank yourself on the way home.
-
Some clients take an over-the-counter pain reliever like ibuprofen about 30 minutes before their appointment, especially for a first-time Brazilian. It can take the edge off. Shannon's comfort waxing technique makes a big difference too. Most clients say it's far less intense than they expected.
-
The first time has some discomfort, but most clients are genuinely surprised by how manageable it is. Shannon uses premium hard wax and a comfort-first technique that makes a real difference. She checks in throughout and works at your pace.
It gets easier every time. By the third appointment, most clients barely notice.
-
Premium hard and soft wax for sensitive areas like the Brazilian.
Both are professional-grade and specifically selected for your skin's comfort.
-
Always. This is your appointment and you're in control of it the whole time. Nothing continues without your comfort. That's not just a nice thing to say, it's how Shannon genuinely works. Just say the word and she stops.
-
It's a private treatment room, just you and Shannon. Every surface, tool, and setup is cleaned and sanitized between every single client. Immaculate hygiene isn't a bonus here, it's the baseline, every time, no exceptions.
-
Most clients enjoy smooth skin for 3 to 5 weeks. The more consistently you wax, the finer and sparser hair grows back, so results genuinely improve the longer you keep it up. Your first Brazilian is honestly the hardest one.
-
For the first 24 to 48 hours: skip tight clothing, sex, hot showers or baths, heavy workouts, pools, and hot tubs. Starting day 3 to 5, exfoliate gently to prevent ingrown hairs. Moisturize daily between appointments to keep skin smooth and happy.
-
Exfoliate gently starting 3 to 5 days after your wax, and keep it up 2 to 3 times a week between appointments. Moisturizing daily also helps keep the skin soft so hairs can break through the surface easily. The more regularly you wax, the fewer ingrowns you'll get over time.
-
Every 3 to 5 weeks is ideal for Brazilian and body waxing. Coming in regularly, rather than letting hair grow out and starting from scratch each time is what makes the biggest difference in comfort, results, and regrowth over time.
-
Completely normal. Some redness and sensitivity right after waxing is a normal skin response, it usually fades within a few hours. Avoid anything that adds heat or friction (tight clothes, hot showers, workouts, sex) for the first 24 hours and your skin will calm down quickly.
-
Technically you can, but Shannon strongly recommends against it. Shaving resets the hair growth cycle, makes hair come back coarser, and means your next wax appointment will feel more like a first time again. The whole benefit of consistent waxing - finer, sparser regrowth - gets undone. Stick with it and your patience pays off.

For lash lifts: come in with clean, mascara-free lashes. No lash serum for 48 hours before. That's really it - she handles the rest.
-
For lash lifts and tints: avoid getting lashes wet and skip mascara for 24 hours. After that, you're completely clear to wear whatever you want, and you probably won't want to once you see the results.
